He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard and Stella Howard (Hennon); and his siblings, Adolph Howard, Aline Allison, Madge Lemons, Marie Harper and Helen Yates.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Howard (Cindy) of Pine Bluff and Ray Howard (Tina) of Bryant, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Lindsay Fell, Jana Jones, Cade and Sarah Howard; and his great grandchildren, Samuel Campos, Henry Fell and Magnolia Jones.
