He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mauldin; his children, Lisa Hale (James), Paula Spades (Steven) and Steven Swindle; and his siblings, Leroy Hickman, Charles Hickman and Mary Qualls. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
