She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carter and Jewell Carter; and her husband Louis Brooks. She is survived by: her sister Jo (Doug Cogburn) of Mena, AR.; her sister-in-law Lynnda Carter Mullin of Austin, Texas.; her caregivers, Jeanie Henry, Prersley Robertson and Mandy Huber of Mena, Arkansas.; her close friend Paul Meisler of Austin, Texas.; and her brothers, H. C. Carter Jr., Travis Carter and Marcus Dodson.
