He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smith and Ada Smith; and his siblings, Helen Liles, Mary McClure, Billy Smith and Jimmy Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hanner (Yvette) of Augusta, GA and Shelly Smith of Salina, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Lauren (Zachary), Tyler (Shea), Bret, Jarred, Sarah and Jasmine; and his great grandchildren, Maddox, Nash, Kyler, Kolter and Rowan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
