She was predeceased by: her parents, Romie Goff and Nell Goff; her husband Lyle Poindexter; her daughter Stephanie Milton; and her siblings, Charles Goff and Brenda Haley.

She is survived by: her daughter Myra Spence (Jamie) of McRae; her granddaughters, Erica, Andrea and Alicia; her great grandchild Ashlynn Lorene; her friend Magan; her brother Leroy Goff (Carol) of Beebe; and her brother-in-law Phillip Poindexter (Kay) of McRae. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
