He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Vinson and Ruth Whorton Vinson; his wife Anita Vinson; and his son Frank "Lynn" Vinson, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Paul Vinson (Joan) of San Antonio and Sheila Vinson Lang (Steve) of Judsonia; his brother Paul Vinson (Charlene) of Fayetteville; and his grandchildren, Chris Vinson (Janelle), Kent Vinson (Dina), Devan Shaw (Brandon), Darci Wilson (Daniel), Sara Vinson Medley, Daniel Vinson (Brooke), Nathan Lang-Raad (Herbie) and Derek Lang (Emily).
