He was predeceased by: his parents, C. H. Carmichael and Hazel Mae Carmichael; and his brother Charles W Carmichael. He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Ann Whitlow (Bart) of Searcy, Phyllis Gay Roberts of Jonesboro, James Carmichael (Carroll) of Center Hill, Wayne Carmichael (Alys) of Searcy and Harold Carmichael of McRae. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews: as well as many great nieces and nephews.
