He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Pipkin and Flossie Pipkin; and his brothers, J. W. and Billy Joe Pipkin. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Rascoe Pipkin; and his siblings, Ivy Bell Strayhorn Pipkin and Guy "Doodle" Pipkin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
