He is survived by: his wife Arleen Ingram Benton; his parents, William Lee Benton and Frances Louise Secrest Benton; his children, Brett Garrett of Pocahontas, Christopher of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Matthew of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Nicholas of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Justin Tomblin of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Alexa Marie Benton of Morton, Illinois; his brother Randy Scott (Mary) of Machesney Park, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Candance, Christofer, Remington and Adeline Tomblin of Poplar Bluff.
