He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry Meridith and Lena Mae Samons Meridith; his siblings, Velma Marlett, Leola Bland, Gana Frier, Retha Hart, Louise Looney, Norman Meridith, Erma Brooks, Glenna Cox, Charles and Louise Meridith; and his grandson Cody Coonce.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Meridith (Anita) of Sherwood, Sherry Haga (Steve) of Poplar Bluff, MO. and Sammy Koons (Brandi) of West Memphis; his grandchildren, Bryan Hambrick of Hoxie, Amanda Hambrick of Poplar Bluff, MO., Ashley Anglin of Poplar Bluff, MO., Amy Barber of Ellabell, GA., Derek Cates of Sherwood, Karrie Keen of Hendersonville, TN., Katherine Koons of West Memphis, Carson Koons of West Memphis, Cayson Koons of West Memphis and Carley Koons of West Memphis; and his great grandchildren, Caden Hambrick, Chloe Wilson, Kinsley Vickery, Michael Cates, Ashlyn Cates, Dakota Laxson, Easton Koons, Kyndal Barber, Rhett Barber, Adalyn Haga and Cash Anglin.
