With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Sharon Thompson Irvin Cox (Maumelle, Arkansas), born in Conway, Arkansas, who passed away on May 4, 2018 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Vernon Wilson Irvin; her daughter Tina Michelle Irvin Paul; and her siblings, Rita Mae Thompson Minnick, Harrell Thompson, Richard Thompson, Gene Dale Thompson and Billy Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Lee Cox; her children, Sheri Irvin Chamblee (Jon), Vernon Irvin (Sarah) of Maumelle and Virgil Irvin (Jana) of Bigelow; her sister Carolyn Thompson of Grand Rapids; her child Branson; her grandsons, Sean, Sam, Alex, Weston and Tucker; and her nephews, Brad Hall and Josh Hall. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
