She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Filmore Meadows and Helen King Meadows; her husband Samuel L. Atkinson, Jr.; her sister Nadia Bass of Conway; and her children, Mary Jane Weindorf of Little Rock, Malu Norris (James) of Hot Springs and Samuel L. Atkinson III of Maumelle. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, and thirteen Great-grandchildren.
