He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howard Cox and Mary Louise Clifton; his daughter Doris Cox Walker; his grandson Derrek; and his brother James Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Cox, William Howard Cox Jr. (Sheila) and Kenneth England; and his siblings, Raymond Cox, Paul Cox (Ida) and Barbara Meiers (Marion). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
