It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruie Harmon in Marion, Arkansas, born in Savannah, Tennessee, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Auther Harmon; her parents, George Weston and Myrtle Steeley Weston; and her siblings, Aldene Weston King, Dorthy Weston MaGee, Carthell Weston, G. S. "Bill" Weston, Harold Weston and Aaron Weston.
She is survived by: her children, Clara Harmon Miller of Marion, Arkansas, Peggy Harmon Parnell of Marion, Arkansas and David Harmon of Marion, Arkansas; her sisters, Artie Weston McGlawn, Betty Weston Lewis, Mavis Weston Easley and Edie Weston Allen; her grandchildren, Wayne Parnell, Glenn Parnell (Tatum) and Sherry Lovelady (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Dylan Parnell, Kristen Parnell, Cole Parnell, Anna Grace Parnell and Savannah Lovelady.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the local Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet is recommended for outdoor services and all funeral attendees are requested to wear masks.
