With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Hood of Marion, Arkansas, born in Leachville, Arkansas, who passed away on July 26, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Herrell and Pauline Harper Herrell; her husband Paul Hood; and her siblings, Patsy Sims, Larry Herrell and Eddie Herrell.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hood (Cheryl), Robert Hood (Jennifer) and Paula Hood Davis; her grandchildren, Allen Wood, John Philip Broadway, Ben Hood, Caroline Hood, Sarah Beth Hood and Katherine Anne Hood; and her brothers, Roger Herrell (Mattie) and Carril Herrell (Shirley).
She was our strong foundation and kept us together, as she would naturally take the role as everyone's caregiver whenever the need should arise.
