She was predeceased by: her husband George Tipton, Jr.; her children, Mitchell Tipton, Lois Newmy and Carolyn Wilson; and her siblings, Elijah Morris and Mary Hollis.
She is survived by: her children, George Tipton III of Leesburg, GA, Willie Tipton of Memphis, TN, Anna Miller of Dallas, TX, Sallie Paraham of North Fork, VA, Gwendolyn Sweet of Royce City, TX, Mable Madkins of Marion, AR and Mavis Echols of North Fork, VA; and her sister Eletha Small of Lilbourn, MO. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
