He was predeceased by: his parent Birdye Maxine Harmon; his grandparents, H. D. and Lula Pankey; his wife Phyllis Cooper; his siblings, Sims Pankey, Sonny Pankey, Bobbye Jean Keenon and Betty Jo Mauthe; and his nephews, Carl Pankey and Chris Pankey.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jack Cooper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
