He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessee Abner and Guthrie Mae Thacker Croom; and his siblings, Hiram Croom, Wiley Croom, Carl Croom, Charles Croom, Hope Wilson and Ruth Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Croom; his daughters, Patricia Foster (Terry) of Marion and Melissa Lovell (Jeff) of Batesville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Jessica Pertossian (Chris) of New York, Stephanie Lovell of Grand Blanc, Adam Foster of Marion and Gavin Foster of Marion, Arkansas; and his great grandchild Margorie Pertossian of New York.
