She was predeceased by: her husband Leandrew Hooks; her children, Leandrew Hooks, Jr., Michael Hooks, Sr. and Velma Williams; and also, Allen Dodds, Eddie Dodds and Walter Dodds.
She is survived by: her daughters, Geraldine Carpenter, Linda Barfield of Osceola, AR, Rosie Hooks, Dorothy Taylor, Gala Mosley of Marietta, GA, Freddie Thomas of Jonesboro, AR and Donna Chew of Luxora, AR; and her sister Yvonne O'Neal of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren.
