He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Kavanaugh and Helen Marie Kavanaugh; his siblings-in-law, Thell, Greta Buell and Connie Maxian (Bruce) of Sarasota, FL; and his niece Kristin McClellan of Murfreesboro, TN..

He is survived by: his wife Michelle Buell of Fort Smith; his children, Drew Kavanaugh (Barbara) of Lancaster, PA and Kelly Imhoff (Jason) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Ben, Hannah Kavanaugh, Olivia and Ellie Imhoff; his sister-in-law Carole Beattie (Kaye McClellan) of Fort Smith; and his caregivers, Rita, Sharon, Annie, Dr. Larry Mendelsohn, Dr. Gao and Lisa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 2nd Presbyterian Church where Steve served as a deacon or to the charity of your choice.
