She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Smith and Ruth Winfrey; her siblings, Columbus, Ira, James, Elmer, Arthur Akins, Carmell Smith, Elsie Mae Johnson, Margaret Jefferson, Ruby Mae Campbell and Julia Dolphus; and her great grandchild Aaliyah Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Akins, Robert Taylor Jr., Wayne Taylor Sr. of Little Rock, AR, Connie Breland "Angelo" of Smyrna, TN, Tammie Colman (Cedric) and Clara Taylor of Little Rock, AR; her siblings, Willie Smith of Rocky Mountain, NC, William Akins of Little Rock, AR, Therma Jean and Viola Manning; and her children, Dowell, Dennis, Shasta Taylor and Felecia Ester. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
