He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Eugene Rhodes, Sr. and Lavon Jane Newberry Rhodes; his grandparents, Ivy Smith Rhodes, Dovie Lemley Rhodes, Dean Everett Newberry, Sr. and Ruth Herring Newberry; and his brother Donald Eugene Rhodes, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Stacy; his son-in-law Rush Simpson of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Leah and Zoë; his daughter Melissa White of Sherwood; his granddaughters, Emily and Olivia; his sisters, Diana Barr of Hendersonville, Janice Rhodes of Benton and Shirley Holt (Will) of Rogers; his pet Bob; and his brother Donnie. He is also survived by 4 nieces and their husbands, and 9 great nieces and nephews.
