She was predeceased by: her husband Charles M Hanson; her parents, James Finley and Anne Finley; and her son Paul Hanson. She is survived by: her children, Mike Hanson (Karen) and Lynn Hanson; and her grandchildren, Caroline Hugg (Brent), Charles Hanson (Megan), Elizabeth Welch (Jake), Laura Hanson, Thomas Hanson, Ashley, Stephen, Elliot and Clare Enderlin.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her memory to Carmelite Nuns 7201 W 32nd Street, Catholic High School, or Christ the King Endowment Fund.
