He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Allen; his parents, Fayte Ewing, Sr. and Mable Moore; and his siblings, Loretta Bailey, Joe Ewing and Fayte Ewing, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Johnson, Toniette Watson, Aleta Watson, Mable Singleton and Tammie Ewing; and his siblings, Betty Ivy, Bonnie Stephens, Clarence Ewing, Patricia Ewing and Carolyn Ewing. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
