She is survived by: her father Columbus Brown, III; her son Demetrius Johnson (Victoria) of San Antonio, Texas; her siblings, Raquel Johnson of Houston, Texas, Shonna Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas, Edmonda Bailey (Eric) of Little Rock, Shayla Anderson Edwards (Robert) of Houston, Texas and Drs; her grandchildren, Kyhlei Muhammad of Houston and Truett Johnson of San Antonio, Texas; her great-aunt Lela Phillips of Conway; her sister Sheila Blackmon (Larry); her close friend James Barron of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her godson Marcus Slade of New Jersey. She is also survived by seven aunts and four uncles.
