He was predeceased by: his father Hansel James Powell; his sister Patsy Mosley (Robert Mosley); and his nephews, John Jacob Mosley and Michael Mosley. He is survived by: his brothers, Roger Powell (Sandra), Larry Powell and David Powell (Lisa). He is also survived by friend Travis French; and many more friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital or Arkansas Hospice in honor of James.
