We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2023, at the age of 101, Irma Murphy Jewell in Little Rock, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leta Taylor and Everett Mason Murphy; her husband Horace Jewell; her children, Pat, Linda and David; her grandson Andrew Engborg; and her sons-in-law, Louis Ederington and Rick Engborg.
She is survived by: her brother Bill; her children, Anne Ederington, Judy Jewell, Becky Engborg, Joe, Jan Jewell, John Jewell and Shelley Djurica; her grandchildren, Benjamin Ederington (Elizabeth Matthews), Josh Ederington (Jenny Minier), Emily Freeman Penfield (Matthew), David Freeman (Katie), Matt Jewell, Ryan Jewell (Sarah), Amanda Murphy (Chris), Mason Jewell and Emma Jewell; and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Eliza Penfield, Sam, Max Ederington, Hannah Freeman, Katherine, John, Emily Matthews-Ederington, Ray, Ross, Maxwell Jewell, Noah and Peter Murphy.
Because of her devotion to that church, the family invites those who wish to donate in her name to do so toward the Habitat for Humanity Fund at First United Methodist Church, 723 Center St., Little Rock, AR 72201 or to Heifer Project International.
