He was predeceased by: his wife Cora Whitener; his parents, Fredrick John and Dorthea Ernestine Ahrent (Allmandinger); and his siblings, Vernon, Edwin, Martin Ahrent and Ruth Letterman.
He is survived by: his daughter Jean Cook of Little Rock, AR.; his brother Louis Ahrent (Ruth) of Corning, AR.; and his grandchild Alaina Cook of Little Rock, AR. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
