With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarene Swearingen of Little Rock, Arkansas, born in Atkins, Arkansas, who passed away on August 23, 2024 at the age of 106. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clarene Swearingen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Burnett and Mamie Ellison Burnett of Atkins, Arkansas.; her siblings, Cray Burnett, Durard Burnett, Mary Treat, Hearstill Burnett and Nell Warren; and her children, David Swearingen and Mary Jane Swearingen McDonald.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Davi Smith (Dennis), Beth Toland (Chad) of Little Rock and Ann Polson (Preston) of Rogers; and her great grandchildren, Emma, John David Smith, Matthew (Matison), Gracen, Lauren Toland, Luke, Will and Andrew Polson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Prayer Shawl Ministry or Senior Adult Legacy Ministry at Immanuel Baptist Church, Little Rock, Arkansas.
