She is survived by: her children, LaKeisha Kitchen (Ellis) and Nakita Lewis; her siblings, Regina King, Linda McBride (Rickey), Madie Nichols, Janet Abrahms (Reginald), Cynthia Nichols Williams, Curlee Nichols Jr., Larry Ford, Robert "Ricky" Ford and Norvelle "Donnie" Ford; and her grandsons, Edward Sample and Christopher Kitchen.
