He is survived by: his wife Polly Bevins of Lewisville, AR; his children, Chris Bevins (Megan) of Winnsboro, TX and Shelly Martinez (Val) of Lexington, KY; his siblings, Bobby Bevins of Chino Hills, CA, Larry Shanks (Regina) of Nacogdoches, TX, Howard Shanks, Jr. of Lufkin, TX, Timmy Shanks of Baytown, TX, Robert Shanks of Magnolia, AR, Juanita Mitchell (Davis) of Waldo, AR and Judy Martinez (BJ) of Tuscon, AZ; his grandchildren, Logan Bevins of Alex Green, A. J, Austin Bevins, Bristol Bevins, Maddox Bevins and Elijah Bevins; and his close friend Kerri Bobo (Charlie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
