He was predeceased by: his siblings, Tommy Taunton, Edward Eddie Taunton, Alice Halfacre and Cindy Rowland. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Brumley Taunton; his children, William "Sonny" Taunton (Shawn) of Abilene Texas and Rhonda Bender (John) of Fayetteville Arkansas; his sisters, Betty Kelly (Alvin) of Junction City and Ann Bearden of Dallas Texas; and his children, Hospital Foundation, Box and Little Rock. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
