He was predeceased by: his parents, Elra Layman Faulkner and Alma Evelyn Faulkner Bullington (Stephens); his siblings, Richard Faulkner and Joan Carolyn James; and his granddaughter Morgan Carter.

He is survived by: his children, Faulkner Jr. (Shelia) and Angie (Ricky Carter); and his sister Doris (Marvin Krauss) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
