He was predeceased by: his wife Nhan Thi Nguyen; his son Dien Van Nguyen; and his mother Quang Van Nguyen. He is survived by: his children, Linh Tuan Nguyen of Arlington, Texas, Vai George of Cape Coral, Florida, Nhu Thi Nguyen (Phu Minh Nguyen) of Euless, Texas, Tuan Dinh Nguyen of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Yeu Thi Nguyen of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Nha Wall (Stuart Wall) of Plano, Texas and Ethan Hoa Nguyen (Chialin Nguyen) of Lynnwood, Washington; and his grandchildren, Peter "Hai", Christopher "Hoang", Nathaniel "Chau", Elizabeth "Huyen", Hudson, Owen, Evelyn and Cameron.
