It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewayne Pierce Sr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Monette, Arkansas, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Pierce and Juanita Tranthum Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Leach Pierce; his sons, Dewayne Pierce Jr. (Tiffany) of Little Rock and Kevin Pierce (Sandi) of Jonesboro; his stepson Scott Leach of Brookland; his grandchildren, Mary Beth Pierce, Eli Pierce, McKenzie Pierce (Lena), Meredith Infield (Jordan), Myles Pierce (Mattea) and Josh Leach; his sisters, Linda Anschultz and Brenda Reece (Dallas); and his close friends, James and Kim Cole. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House or NEA Humane Society.
