He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Chester and Glenda Chester; and his brother Jimmy Chester. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Chester; his children, Brittanie Chester (Daniel Felts) and Matthew Chester (Christy); his grandchildren, Lizzy, Nate (Avery) and Sophie; his parents-in-law, Betty and Edward Elder; his siblings, Dan Chester (Judy), Tom Chester (Cindy) and Phyllis Story (Donald); and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Farley (Carla) and Debbie Turpin (Jerry). He is also survived by Nephews, nieces as well as great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the local Foundation of Arts or the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society.
