With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Joe Wicker of Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earnest and Nellie Mae Phillips Wicker; and his son-in-law Jackie Becker. He is survived by: his wife Marian Jo Nixon Wicker; his children, Steve (Lou Ann Wicker), Julia (Mike Russell), Regina Becker (Alan Holloway) of Jonesboro, AR and Jeff (Debbie Wicker); and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Kela Russell, Josh, Mandy Russell, Scott, Keisha Wicker, Jenni, Tony Moffett, Jason, Suzie Becker, Stephanie, Robert Pfeil, Bill, Kristie Becker, Jordan Wicker (Jeremy Irvin), Jacob Becker (Lauren Garrison), Tanner, Kristen McElrath, Whitten Wicker, Ben Wicker and Presley Wicker. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Freewill Baptist Church in Jonesboro, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
