He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Oda Turner (Wellman) and Robert Wayne "Zeke" Turner; and his brothers, Rodney, Calvin and Kieth Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Irene Turner (Koons); his brother Curtis Wayne Turner; his son Forest Shade (Tara Dawn Turner); his grandson Forest Rain Turner; and also, Ashton Simpson and Mathilda Alyss Turner.
His career was cut short when his Parkinson's symptoms no longer allowed him to balance on that ledge or turn those intricate dials.
