He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Bohannan and Carrie Hatfield Bohannan. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bohannan; his daughter Shari Bohannan of Huntsville; his sister Flo; his brother-in-law Bill Jones of Alabam; and his nieces and nephews, Brian Jones (Tannis Jones) of Marble, Lisa Yates (Jimmy Yates) of Alabam, Arden McElhaney (Mark Piccione) of Huntsville and Scott McElhaney of Long Beach, California..
