He was predeceased by: his parent Hester May Guthrie Gaskill; his son Tim Gaskill; his father John Gaskill; and his siblings, Jim Gaskill, Ed Gaskill, Johnnie Gaskill and Mary Neal.
He is survived by: his wife Linda "Penny" McLoud; his daughter Sherri Cozad of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Remington Cozad of Huntsville and Madison Cozad of Huntsville; and his sisters, Doris (Tom Williams) and Ann (Joel Anderson).
