He is survived by: his wife Essie McGlothlin May of Houston; his daughters, Rhonda Rankin (Jim), Rebecca Frazier and Teresa Prince of Houston; his grandchildren, Fred May (Amber) of Houston, Shayna Dickson (Shawn) of Morrilton, Zach Mayo (Tisha) of Perryville, Kristen O'Brien (Seth) of Adona, Haley Prince of Conway and Sawyer Frazier of Houston; his great grandchildren, Carter, Gracen, Kyndall May of Houston, Addy, Beckett Mayo of Perryville, Sam Dickson of Morrilton, Klayton and Kolton Treadway of Adona; and his sister Mary May Trapp of Marked Tree. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
