He was predeceased by: his wife Dell Spainhour; his parents, E. H. "Huey" Spainhour and Zelma Inez Roach-Kirkham; and his brother Reggie Payte. He is survived by: his children, Tannda Spainhour (Rodney Marks) and Michael Spainhour (Markilyn); and his granddaughter Shelby Spainhour.
Wade was most proud of the survey work he donated for the Veteran's Memorial of Garland County in Hot Springs.
