She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Dr. Buck Morton, Annette Morton and Patsy Ann Murphy; and her father Russell Murphy Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Sarah Beth Martin (Jared); her nieces and nephews, Adisyn, Andrew, Ava and Alston; her mother Donna Murphy; her brother Dakota Murphy (Destini); and her grandfather Russell Murphy, Sr.. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family.
Sissy participated in the Cerebral Palsy Foundation Telethon from 1980 to 1994 to help raise funds and awareness for programs in the Mid-South area.
