She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Melvin Buren Young III; her parents, Bess Olmstead Keller and Maxfield Leander Keller; her children, Katie Slack (Stewart) of Dallas, Emily Shaw (Rhod) of Alexandria, Virginia and Max Young (Lynn) of Flower Mound; her grandchildren, Taylor Slack (Genny), Emily Slack, John Stewart Slack, Caroline Shaw, Sarah Shaw, Max Young (Katie), Madalynn Young and Elizabeth Young Graves (Tyler); her sister Sissy Keller Mayeaux of Shreveport; her nephews, James Mayeaux (Peyton) and Keller Mayeaux (Robin); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Thomas, Graham, Max Mayeaux and Declan Mayeaux.
Due to COVID, a family burial will be held at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport.
