He is survived by: his children, John R. Johnson Jr. (Karen) of Hope, AR and Connie Lavender of Hope; his siblings, Annie Mae Martindale and Gene Johnson (Sue); and his grandchildren, Leland Lavender, Lilac Lavender, John R. Johnson III and Eric Ray Johnson. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
