He was predeceased by: his father Homer Anderson Poindexter; his brother David Carroll Poindexter; and his nephew Russell Paul Cummings. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sarah, Finley, Huckson and Dally; his sister Paula Cummings (Rocky) of Bodcaw; his niece Amanda Reeves (Chris); his great-niece Rusti Beathard (Cody); and the mother of his children Susie Malone (Joan Marcum).
