He was predeceased by: his parents, Fairrel Rider and Dorothy Brooks Rider; his brother Richard Rider; and his nephew Christopher Rider. He is survived by: his wife Kay Rider of Patmos; his children, Adam Rider (Katie) of Hope and Kayla Dorman (Gary) of Patmos; his grandchildren, Luke Rider, Owen Dorman, Barrett Dorman, Maci Dorman and Logan Dorman of Texarkana; his sister-in-law Susan Rider; his mother-in-law Betty Moses of Spring Hill; his niece Morgan Fox; and his nephews, Derek Rider and Scott Eggleston.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis or other favorite charity.
