With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Young (Hazen, Arkansas), who passed away on June 4, 2023 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sue Young to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by: her husband Gaines Young; her sister Betty Patton of Nash, Texas; and her children, Greg and Mary Charl Korita. She is also survived by her family and supporting her children and grandchildren in their activities– the grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church choir or the Carlisle Public Library.

She played the organ at the Methodist Church at Carlisle for years and I have never heard anyone make it talk like she did. I miss her so very much. I feel a true part of me is gone.....
