He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Currey and Maggie Smith Currey; his wife Glenda Fay Sparks Currey; and his siblings, William Currey, Glen Currey, Peggy Hathcoat and Barbara Dickerson.
He is survived by: his son Jimmy Don Currey (Amanda) of Arkadelphia; his stepson Brandon Malcom (Becky) of Whelen Springs; his daughter Kim Conant (Greg) of Okolona; his stepdaughters, Tammy Meyers (Jaime) of Whelen Springs and Tracey Malcom of Whelen Springs; his brother Everett Currey (Patsy) of Gurdon; his grandchildren, Adalynn Brady, Max Currey, Michael Benson Jr., Brandy Caldwell, Isaac Conant, Savanah Currey, Lexi Currey and Summer Conant; and his stepgrandchildren, Justin Meyers, Derick Prince, Autumn Markham, Jessie Prince, Chelsea Prince, Trevor Prince and Burgandy Malcom. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Arkansas Heart Hospital.
