He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dye and Marion Dye; his wife Negretta Lynn Dye; and his brother Daniel Dye. He is survived by: his sons, William Henry Dye, Jr. of Greenwood, Michael Allen Dye of Lavaca, Daniel Stewart "Boone" Dye of Greenwood and John Earl Dye, Sr. of Greenwood; and his brothers, Carl Dye, Paul Dye and Mark Dye. He is also survived by one sister and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
